How to Solve Problems Based on Nth term /General Term of Arithmetic Progression
In previous video we learnt the derivation of general term or nth term of an Arithmetic progression.
Now in this lesson we will use the application of the nth term formula of arithmetic progression .

1. In the nth term formula of arithmetic progression there are four (4) variables, you will get any three variables you have to find the fourth one which is missing.
2. To find the 4th variable it may be first term (a), last term (l), term number (n), nth term, or may be common difference so just put all the given value in the formula of nth term of arithmetic progression you will get the required thing easily.

Q1. Find the 12th, 24th, and nth term of an A. P. given by , 9, 13, 17, 21, 25, …
Q2. Show that the sequence 9, 12, 15, 18, ……… is an arithmetic progression. Find its 16th term and the general term.
