Probability Problems Solving -When Two Coins are Tossed 500 Times

In previous video lesson of Probability we learned to find the find the probability of a coin tossed for 1000 times.
Now in this video lesson of Probability we are going to probability for tossing two coins together for 5000 times.
This is looking a little bit different than previous one but not exactly it is also almost same as before. How to do and what to do this problem of probability?
So let’s start our lesson.

The question is here in the image of probability
Question is asking what is the probability for the event “Two heads” , Probability for “One Head” & Probability for “No head”

Steps to Solve the Problem

1. Use the formula of probability for calculating probability of Two heads as given,
Probability of getting two head, P (two head) = No. of trials in which we got Two head / Total number of trials.
Or. P (Two heads) = 105/500 = 0.21 = 21%
2. Use the probability formula for calculating the probability of getting “one Head” like this,
Probability of getting one head, P (One Head) = No. of trials in which we got one head/ Total number of trials
Or P (One Head) = 275 / 500 = 0.55 = 55%
3. Use the formula of Probability for calculating the probability for getting “No Head”. It simply means probability of getting two Tails together.
Probability of getting No head, P (No head) = No. of trials in which we get No heads / Total number of trials
Or, P (No head) = 120 / 500 = 0.24 = 24 %
Well dear we have to solve like above. And you finally what we will get-
Sum of all probabilities (P) = P (Two head) + P (one head) + P (No head) = 1 = 100%

Wanna try to sum! Okay
P = 0.21 + 0.55 + 0.24 = 1
Or, P = 21% + 55% +24 % = 100 %
